Faith and Love

Your body is away from me
But there is a window open
from my heart to yours.
From this window, like the moon
I keep sending news secretly.
~ Rumi

Solveig was extremely faithful and a devoutly religious person – her faith was steadfast. In the mid 90’s Solveig added ‘Zarah’ legally to her name. She is fondly remembered as Zarah to so many that loved her in the community worldwide, at her work at Algonquin College, and at large, a name she was so proud of – She always signed off as ‘Solveig Z. Keshavjee’ – her business cards, her work Badge, her autographs at shows, everything!

Solveig served in so many voluntary and humanitarian endeavours and was always willing to help in any capacity for the betterment of all people no matter what their faith – she believed in equality, fairness, and absolutely was an independent and free thinking woman and simply the strongest woman I have ever known…our daughters carry her strength and wisdom…to look at our daughters is to still see Solveig right now.

There will be many more, but here is a message Solveig wrote in honour of His Highness the Aga Khan, whom at the time was getting married.
This message was very special for Solveig:
